Research overview：
ATPの生産と消費のバランス維持は、細胞にとって極めて重要です。本研究では、ATP代謝制御に関わる新規蛋白質Nucleomethylin (NML)の機能解析を行い、NML複合体を中心とするATP代謝制御ネットワークの解明とその個体における役割、さらに、ネットワークの破綻と疾患との関係を明らかにすることを目標とします。将来的には、癌・生活習慣病・老化などの新たな治療戦略の開拓が期待されます。
