Research overview：
現存する生命は、終始コドンに様々な意味を付け加え多様な新機能性を獲得してきましたが、そのメカニズムは未解明です。終始コドンは、核酸であるtRNAではなく、ペプチド鎖解離因子と呼ばれるtRNA擬態タンパク質によって解読されます。本研究では、真核細胞におけるペプチド鎖解離因子の関わる多彩なRNA制御機能を解析し、RNAとタンパク質の世界をつなぐ生命原理の基盤を明らかにし、さらにその応用を目指します。
