Research overview：
車の渋滞は現在大きな社会問題となっています。また、都市部では安全性や快適さの観点から公共の場所での人の混雑緩和が重要な課題です。そこでこれらの問題を全て「渋滞現象」として捉え、広い意味での流れや輸送に伴う渋滞のメカニズムを最新の数理科学を用いて統一的に解析します。そして様々な渋滞現象を横断的に分析することで、車や人などの渋滞解消の新しい方策を提言します。
