Research overview：
本研究では微小液滴作製技術を応用し、ウイルス1粒子ゲノム情報の網羅的な獲得を可能にする技術の開発を目指します。水圏環境中のウイルス粒子の高精度ゲノム情報をハイスループットに取得することで、未知ウイルスを含めたゲノムデータベースの拡充を行います。さらに、宿主となる細菌のゲノム情報を合わせて取得・解析することにより、「どのウイルスが」「どの細菌に」「どの程度の頻度で」感染しているのかを明らかにします。
