脳が身体を介さず直接機械を操作するBMIは、脳卒中や脊髄損傷の後遺症に苦しむ人々の社会復帰を援助する技術として期待されています。BMIの使用を学ぶ際に、脳は自らの可塑性によりダイナミックに変化していきます。この脳の柔らかさを活かし、脳と機械が協調して進化する未来志向のBMI技術開発に取り組みます。
