Research overview：
動物の滑らかで素早い運動がどのような神経機構によって実現されているのかを明らかにすることを目標とし、計算論から提案されている「脳は、その中にある制御対象(筋肉等)の内部モデルを使って運動指令を作り、運動を実現している」という仮説を、生理学、解剖学、行動学実験と計算論を有機的に組み合わせながら検討します。動物の巧みな運動制御のメカニズムの解明を研究成果として見込んでいます。
