Research overview：
植物分子生合成の「解析・改変・利用」を目的とし、生合成鍵酵素やその複合体の立体構造解析、酵素反応の人為的制御、高効率有用物質生産系の構築を行います。 具体的には、生合成酵素群の立体構造を基盤とした変異導入により酵素の機能を改変し、設計した合成基質などと組み合わせることで非天然型新規化合物群を創出します。また、微生物、植物において酵素群をコンパートメント化した、効率的物質生産系を確立します。
