Research overview：
電解液を固体電解質に代えた全固体電池の実用化に向けた研究を行います。 全固体電池は、可燃性の電解液を使用しないので、漏液の心配がなく安全性が高い電池と考えられており、自動車用電源などに期待されています。硫化物及び酸化物系無機固体電解質に適した界面構築、材料プロセス、電池設計などの要素技術を、「硫化物型全固体電池」と「酸化物型全固体電池」の2つのサブチームに分けて研究しており、前者は技術研究組合リチウムイオン電池材料評価研究センター(LIBTEC)と連携して実用化に向けた研究を更に加速しています。
