Research overview：
本研究はキラリティ制御を含めた単一組成単層カーボンナノチューブ(SWNT)の自在合成実現のために、「バッキーボウル」を基盤としたボトムアップ製造技術を開発するものです。CNTの先端構造に相当する半球バッキーボウルのキラリティ制御を含めた立体選択的合成手法を開発します。バッキーボウルを足がかりにチューブ成長を行うことで、直径、カイラル角、螺旋方向が全て一義的に決められたSWNTのみを合成します。
