Research overview：
本研究は、文字・文書という身近で古典的なメディアを、高速文字認識・文書画像検索技術などの情報通信技術を駆使し、新しいメディアへと変貌させます。具体的には、看板やポスターに基づいてナビゲーションを行ったり、評判情報などを瞬時に検索すること、読書履歴や今読んでいる箇所に応じて、読者の理解を助ける情報を瞬時に提示することなどが可能となります。すなわち、古典的メデイアが、人に応じて語りかけてくる動的メディアに変貌します。
