Research overview：
揮発性有機塩素化合物および重金属などで汚染された土壌を、微生物を用いて修復するための基盤技術を開発します。すなわち、バイオレメディエーション技術の実用化における重要課題である浄化微生物の開発、技術の有効性、さらに、使用微生物の環境中における挙動、生態系に及ぼす影響、有害物質の生成等の安全性に関する評価技術の開発を行い、有効でかつ安全な修復技術を確立します。
