Research overview：
近年、DNA凝縮や姉妹染色分体の接着過程において、染色体構造維持(SMC)タンパク質の液-液相分離現象が重要な役目を担うことが明らかになりつつありますが、そのサブ分子レベルでの形成・破壊原理は未知の領域となっています。本研究では、高速原子間力顕微鏡(AFM)に光ピンセットを組み合わせた新規手法を用いて、SMCのトポロジカル結合や液-液相分離の形成・破壊ダイナミクス可視化・原理解明を行います。
