Research overview：

リンゴ果実においてLambertella corni-maris は、植物病原菌Monilinia fructigenaに対してマイコパラサイト現象を引き起こす。本現象機構解明の過程で、極めて広い抗菌活性、極めて低い細胞毒性を示すlambertellol類を見出した。しかし安定性に問題あり、そのままでの実用化は難しい。そこで合成安定類縁体からよりすぐれた物質を探索し、新規抗菌剤として実用化を探る。
