海洋細菌から得られる抗がん性色素の細胞内標的分子とそれに対する作用を明らかにするため、細胞内シグナル伝達機構に対する色素の効果を検証する。特に発がんに関わる標的分子に対する色素の効果を調べ、医薬や診断・研究用試薬としての利用を図る。
