Research overview：
生命を維持するためには、一旦合成したものを環境変化に応じて適切に分解処理する必要があります 。オートファジーは、リソソームにおける非特異的な主要分解機構であり真核生物に保存されていますが、その具体的な意義はほとんど明らかになっていません。本研究では、提案者がこれまでに得た細胞レベルの知見を、個体レベルの研究へと発展させることにより、哺乳動物におけるオートファジーの意義とその制御機構の解明を試みます。
