Research overview：
本プロジェクトは新しい燃料としてのアンモニアをカーボンフリーで合成する技術を確立し、再生可能エネルギーの貯蔵・運搬・使用手段を提供することを目的とする。大気中の窒素を還元し、アンモニアを得る方法として、電気化学触媒反応、プラズマ触媒反応、熱触媒反応の3種類の経路に着目し、並行して取り組み、システムとして実現できる技術まで向上させる。モデリングとシミュレーションにより、反応の効率およびシステム寿命の定量的な評価を行い、ライフサイクルアセスメント、経済性評価も実施する。
