Research overview：
Neuroligin および Neurexin は、シナプス末端で互いに結合する細胞接着因子で、シナプス認識・機能獲得に関与していると考えられています。自閉症患者から発見されたこれらの遺伝子変異をマウスのゲノム上で再現し、これらの変異が起こすシナプス異常と自閉症様行動との関係をマウスの個体レベルで研究します。同時にこれらのマウスを自閉症モデルマウスとして評価・検討し、自閉症研究のためのツールとして確立することを目指します。
