Research overview：
軸索輸送は神経細胞の物流システムです。宅急便役の分子モーターがシナプスの材料などを運びます。軸索輸送障害はアルツハイマー病などの神経疾患と関連するため、輸送メカニズム解明は高齢化社会にとって重要な課題です。本研究では電流や熱伝導などの輸送現象を対象とする非平衡統計力学を軸索輸送に応用します。顕微鏡動画の解析から分子モーターの力、速度、分子数などの物理量を推定し、輸送メカニズム解明に役立てます。
