Research overview：
脳は脂質の宝庫と言われ、実際多くの脂質メディエーターが産生されているが、その生理的意義は明らかになっていません。本研究では、種々の脂質メディエーターの産生、放出、分解、受容体を綿密に解析し、神経系での多彩な作用の分子機構を明らかにすることを目標とします。その中で、特に脂質メディエーターの「dual receptor仮説」を検証し、アミンやぺプチドなどの水溶性神経伝達物質との作用機序の違いを明らかにし、神経とグリア機能を調節する上での独自の役割を解明します。
