Research overview：
炎症の遷延化および慢性化の分子機構の一つとして、一旦生じた炎症が適切に収束するためのしくみがうまく機能していない可能性が指摘されています。そこで本研究では、炎症の収束を担う細胞や内因性の抗炎症性代謝物を網羅的に特定し、「治らない炎症」を基盤病態とする慢性疾患の病態を分子レベルで理解することを目指します。将来的には、炎症の収束機構を活性化する新しい創薬・治療戦略への応用が期待されます。
