【請求項1】 受容体層の材料としてPoly(methyl vinyl ether-alt-maleic anhydride)を使用して応力または変位を検出するナノメカニカルセンサにアンモニアを含有する可能性のある試料ガスを供給し、前記ナノメカニカルセンサの出力信号に基づいて前記試料ガス中のアンモニアの有無またはアンモニアの含有量を検出するアンモニア検出方法において、 前記試料ガスが、その相対湿度が制御された加湿試料ガスであることを特徴とするアンモニア検出方法。
