【請求項1】 作物の特定の栽培条件のうち特定の遺伝子発現量に影響を与える特定の環境因子の値と、該特定の栽培条件における作物の前記特定の遺伝子発現量との間の関係式と、前記特定の栽培条件における作物の前記特定の遺伝子発現量と、該作物の光利用効率との間の関係式とから、前記特定の環境因子及び前記作物の光利用効率の関係式を取得する、関係式取得工程、及び 前記特定の環境因子及び前記作物の光利用効率の関係式に、前記特定の環境因子の値を入力して、該特定の環境因子の値に対応する前記作物の光利用効率の値を算出し、算出した前記作物の光利用効率の値から作物の収穫量を予測する、収穫量予測工程、を含む、作物の収穫量を予測する方法。
