Research overview：
海洋のプランクトンは、周囲の環境や他生物と相互作用しながら生態系を支え、物質循環の一端を担っています。特に「光共生(藻類との細胞内共生)」を行う種は、貧栄養海域のキープレーヤーです。本研究ではこの光共生が織りなす未知なるネットワークの解明に挑みます。多様な宿主と共生するハブ共生藻の特定や、光共生のマーカー遺伝子の特定などを通じ、光共生ネットワークの構造や強度、その物質循環への寄与を解明します。
