本研究では代表者が独自に開発するラジカル的手法により立体的にかさ高い第三級炭素を有する環状特殊カルボン酸誘導体の様々な骨格を合成する。合成した化合物が農薬としての活性があるかどうかを試験し、さらなる誘導化を行うことにより企業との共同研究に値する新規農薬分子の発見を目指す。
