Research overview：
インフルエンザ、エボラウイルス病、COVID-19など、人類の大きな脅威である感染症の大半は脂質膜(エンベロープ)を持つウイルスが原因です。薬剤開発やウイルス感染機構解明にはウイルス構造を明らかにすることが重要です。しかし、高い病原性と伝播性とは裏腹にエンベロープウイルスは柔らかい性質を持つため、その構造は謎だらけです。本研究では、エンベロープウイルスの構造解明と、脂質膜中での分子構造解析技術の確立に挑みます。
