Research overview：
珪藻土が持つコケの成長促進作用を活用して各種緑化技術を開発する。1)屋上緑化等ではスポンジをコケの基盤にして従来品重量の50%軽量化の達成、2)植栽や種子の散布をも必要とせず、永続性を持ち、生態系への影響が少ない、完全メンテナンスフリー新規緑化技術の開発、3)軽量化とメンテナンスフリーを活かした海外への展開、を実現する。
