Research overview：
胃がんの原因菌であるピロリ菌除菌には、胃酸分泌抑制剤と2種類の抗生物質の3剤を併用する。この除菌法は患者負荷、薬物耐性菌の発生が問題となっており、除菌に至らない場合がある。代表者等は、新規作用による抗ピロリ菌物質の研究成果を得たことから、その効果を最大化する、抗生物質に依存しない新しい除菌法の基盤技術を確立する。
