Research overview：
ハダカデバネズミ(Naked mole-rat、デバ)は、マウスと似た体サイズでありながら最大寿命が37年以上もある最長寿齧歯類であり、強い老化耐性・発がん耐性を示すことから、組織の恒常性維持能力が著しく高いと考えられます。本研究では、デバ特有の長期恒常性維持機構を解析し、将来ヒトへ応用可能な恒常性維持因子の同定を目指します。将来的には、加齢性疾患を「予防」する革新的な方法の創発が期待されます。
