Research overview：
幹細胞と前駆細胞は組織にダメージが加わると各々の役割を平常時とは劇的に変化させ、組織を再生します。本研究では従来の理解を覆す前駆細胞から幹細胞への「脱分化」の発見にもとづき、これらの細胞による組織再生制御の基本原理を造血系をモデルとして解明します。さらに脱分化を薬剤で制御することで、組織再生の誘導・異常な脱分化が引き起こす老化の抑制を実現し、再生医療・抗老化医療のイノベーション創出を目指します。
