Research overview：
多細胞生物であるヒトの体内で細胞は、生涯を通じてゲノム・エピゲノム変異を獲得し続け、置かれた環境に適応し、自然選択されます。この細胞の進化のパターンは生活習慣や慢性疾患などによって変化することがわかってきました。本研究は、様々な臓器を構成する細胞のゲノム・エピゲノム異常を解析し、疾患に特徴的な細胞の個体内進化を明らかにすることにより、疾患の原因を究明し、治療応用可能な知見の確立を目指します。
