Research overview：
微生物細胞の画像を撮影するとその生死や死因が表示されるような技術を開発します。微生物の死を「見える化」できれば、生物学の根本的な疑問である「死の意味」に迫れるほか、例えば殺菌処理の結果をその場で確認できるようになるような技術へ発展すると期待されます。
