Research overview：
大型サブミリ波望遠鏡と新たな検出器技術の発展によって、世界最大の電波干渉計・アルマの1億倍にも及ぶ、宇宙探査体積の破壊的な拡大がもたらされると期待されています。そこで本研究では、口径50m超級の大型サブミリ波望遠鏡の実現を目指し、建築構造学や統計科学、超伝導電子工学との融合により、巨大構造を前提とした高精度アンテナの製作技術や補償光学技術、検出技術の創発に挑戦し、2030年代の天文学を牽引します。
