申請者らが独自に開発した、“化学・材料科学における外挿的探索”を可能とする機械学習手法を活用し、未踏探索空間に存在する革新的な固体触媒を創出します。本機械学習手法では元々のデータセットに含まれている元素に縛られることなく有望な触媒候補元素を提案することが可能であり(外挿的探索)、既存研究の延長線上にない真に革新的な高機能触媒の発見が期待できます。
