Research overview：
植物葉面の毛状突起(トライコーム)は、雨によって負荷される機械刺激を感知すると、周辺組織でカルシウムウェーブ依存的な免疫を活性化します。本研究では、トライコームのマルチオミックス解析と微細構造解析によって、その制御を担う植物分子を同定し、機械刺激受容センサーとしての特徴付けを行います。本免疫の情報伝達経路を明らかにし、感染リスクの上昇に伴い自律的に疾病防除能を強化することのできる植物を作出します。
