Research overview：
代謝改変した微生物を用いて代謝物の相互供与関係を設計することで、複数の菌株が共依存的に増殖する人工的な細菌叢を構築することができます。この人工合成細菌叢では、代謝物相互供与に関与する酵素反応に応じて菌叢全体の共増殖速度が変化します。この特性を活用すると「共増殖速度」を指標として高活性な酵素変異体を選抜することができます。本研究では人工合成細菌叢を選択場とした革新的酵素スクリーング技術を開発します。
