Research overview：
私達は毎日睡眠覚醒のサイクルを繰り返し、体内では体温・ホルモン等の概日変動リズムが刻まれていますが、これらは脳の視交叉上核SCNを中枢とした体内時計システムの恩恵です。本研究ではSCNを起点とする神経回路が生理的リズムを形成する機構の解明を目的とします。新規バイオ技術を創成しシナプス接続を捉え、神経のラベル化・人為的操作を可能にします。本研究成果を基に老化に伴う生理的リズム減衰の克服に挑戦します。
