自己には物語的自己(ナラティブセルフ)と身体的自己の2つの側面があると考えられています。本研究では、物語的自己が身体的自己へトップダウンに影響を与えるプロセスを「ナラティブ・エンボディメント」と定義し、そのメカニズムを認知神経科学・哲学・リハビリテーション科学の協働により解明します。さらに物語的自己をポジティブに促進できるVRナラティブ介入技術を開発し、リハビリテーションへの応用を行います。
