Research overview：
ヒトの体は細胞からというよりも、むしろ細胞と細胞外マトリクス(ECM)から作られていると言っても過言ではありません。加齢により、ECMはリシルオキシダーゼやトランスグルタミナーゼにより架橋修飾され、変容したECM自体が様々な病態の増悪に関わることが示唆されています。本研究では、ECMの「量」だけでなく、「質」の変化が組織修復の破綻を伴う組織硬化(線維化)を誘導する分子機構を解明します。
