Research overview：
加齢に伴い、誰もが認知症を発症するリスクを抱えますが、発症年齢や進行度合いは個人差が大きく、その原因は明らかでありません。本研究では、脳脊髄液産生を担う脈絡叢が脳内液性環境整備の中枢と考え、脈絡叢の加齢に伴う変容を解明します。マウスでも、老齢では学習能力や脈絡叢遺伝子発現の個体差が大きいため、記憶学習に相関する老化標的遺伝子ネットワークを明かすことで、認知機能低下に個体差が生じる原因を追究します。
