Research overview：
古くは17世紀から続く数理モデリングは現象の理解を推進してきました。しかし、現代的なデータ科学の視点に立つと、未だ残る実践的課題が浮かび上がります。本研究では、モデルの不定性・観測ノイズ・モデル不一致の三課題に着目し、それら全てに対処する方法やその裏付けとなるベイズ推定の基礎論を構築します。これにより、計測データに根ざしたモデリング原理を確立し、あらゆる現象を曖昧さなく理解する指針を打ち出します。
