Research overview：
本研究では社会性昆虫アリをモデルとして「生殖と寿命のトレードオフ」に着目した社会性と加齢変容の連関と制御基盤の理解を目指します。社会環境の変化が個体の寿命延長をもたらす条件を同定し、加齢変容プロセスに及ぼす影響を細胞、組織、個体レベルにて記述します。さらにマルチオミクスと行動定量、ゲノム編集や薬剤投与による機能操作実験により社会環境が加齢による生体変容を制御する分子メカニズムの解明を目指します。
