Research overview：
CO2の電解還元プロセスでは、まずCO2を吸収液に選択的に取り込み、さらに一度分離して電解液に溶かし直してから電解還元を始めるのが一般的です。本研究では、エネルギー消費の多くを占めるCO2の分離過程を省略できるように、CO2の選択吸収液と還元用電解液の機能を併せ持つイオン液体を開発します。これにより、エネルギー効率が劇的に向上したCO2回収・電解一括プロセスの実現を目指します。
