Research overview：
寄生虫は、宿主とともに進化し、独自の方法で巧妙な寄生生活方法を獲得しています。その多様な生存戦略は、興味深い一方、ヒト・動物における疾患に関連します。本研究課題は、操作技術が未発達な寄生虫種において、ゲノム編集等の技術的ブレークスルーを達成し、寄生虫操作の方法論の確立と特徴を生かした有用な機能付加を目指します。これらの技術革新と操作による可視化を通じて、新しい寄生虫生物学の学術基盤確立を試みます。
