Research overview：
ポリユビキチンは、細胞内タンパク質の分解を媒介する翻訳後修飾です。本研究では、特に分岐型ポリユビキチン鎖に着目し、特定のタンパク質の分解を強力に誘導する酵素非依存的な標的ユビキチン化法を開発します。また、主要な分解経路であるプロテアソーム経路とオートファジー経路のそれぞれに選択的に基質を導く分岐鎖構造を抽出し、細胞や標的に応じて狙った経路で分解することを可能とする分子技術の構築へと繋げます。
