Research overview：
10 nmを下回る大きさのナノ粒子はバルク材料とはまったく異なる性質を示します。私の研究ではそのような微小な粒子を複数種用意し、所望の形に集積させた“多元複合クラスター材料”を創製します。多元複合クラスター材料を構成するナノ粒子の組み合わせ、粒子間距離、表面・界面構造、集積形態を様々に制御することで、粒子間の機能協奏や異種物質間の融合を引き起こす未踏の機能材料開発に挑戦します。
