Research overview：
超低温の中性原子に対する量子実験プラットフォームとして注目を集める光ピンセットアレーや光格子を用いて、超精密量子計測技術を開発します。特に、イッテルビウム原子の特異な性質を最大限に生かしたユニークなアプローチを追求し、基本的対称性の検証やダークマター探索など素粒子物理の標準模型を超えた新物理の探索に応用展開するとともに、新規の量子計算方式の開発につなげることを目指します。
