Research overview：
感染症では、体内に病原体を保持しながら健康な人(保菌者)もいれば、重篤な症状を呈する人もいますが、このような感染に対する感受性・抵抗性体質が、どのように決まるのか明らかになっていません。本研究では、腸内細菌叢を制御することで感染症モデルマウスを新たに創出し、感染症を制御する腸内細菌を同定・分離・投与することで、感染感受性・抵抗性体質の理解と感染抵抗性体質を獲得する戦略の確立を目指します。
