Research overview：
本研究では、天然光合成系の構成要素である光捕集系と触媒中心の分子配列に着想を得て、タンパク質集合体を用いて色素と触媒を適切に配列し、光水素発生系の開発をめざします。人工的に集合化したタンパク質を基盤に光増感色素を配列する技術を確立し、光子密度の低い太陽光を反応中心に集約して、円滑な多電子移動反応を可能にする人工光捕集系を構築します。さらに触媒部位を適切に導入し、人工光合成系の開発に貢献します。
