Research overview：
膜タンパク質は、膜貫通領域がアミノ酸の一次配列に基づいて特定の配置に集積することで機能を発現します。本研究では、この“配列-構造相関”を膜貫通αヘリックスペプチドを用いて探索・検証し、会合数やダイナミクスを自在に制御することを目指します。その手段として分子動力学計算を活用した新しい設計法を開発し、自在配列膜ペプチド群を創出します。さらに設計ペプチドから高機能人工膜タンパク質への応用を開拓します。
