ペットボトルや繊維などに由来する廃棄ポリエステルを、再生可能な非在来型炭素資源と捉え、これを様々な高価値化成品へと直接アップサイクルする触媒的物質変換プロセスを開発します。依然として熱的・物理的処理が支配的なポリエステルの既存リサイクルスキームから脱却し、有機合成化学のアプローチから地球環境と調和し経済的にも合理的な炭素循環システム構築を目指します。
